Elaine Stroud is an energetic leader who is not only a quilter but also the founder of COPE NJ where she provides survivors of sexual violence and veterans with PTSD the opportunity to find joy in this therapeutic art. of quilting. In the following video (yes, it is the first one I have posted and not shot well), Sue Adams presents her with our guild's donation of $1,000 which will seed this innovative program. GSQG has also given patterns, fabric and other materials to support COPE's mission, and this gift is seed capital for this exciting new venture helping those with PTSD.
