Bee there next time!

Today's Sunshine Bee featured seventeen busy quilters assembling blocks from members into comforting quilts for veterans. Our next Guild bee is November 14 beginning at 1:00 at the Library of the Chathams. You won't want to miss the fun and satisfaction of this incredible effort for our veterans.

Don't We Love a Challenge?

In September, Sunshine's Kris Dale distributed patriotic fabric squares to meeting attendees. She asked that we make one 9 1/2 inch quilt square and return it in October. Our innovative members made over 100 squares! Delighted, our Sunshine Group is now confident that we will meet our 95 quilt challenge! Ninety five homeless veterans will receive our 95 quilts before the holidays in honor of their service and to show our appreciation for their service. She provides strong and dedicated inspiration to all of us, and this award highlights the inspiration and achievement she has enabled for all of us in the guild. Thanks to Kris's leadership of Sunshine with its quilting bees and volunteer gifts, the guild has donated thousands of quilts. The current challenge, creating 95 quilts for veterans by the holidays, needs all of our participation, so if yo
